Ice Cream Social

We scream. You scream. We all scream for ice cream! Let’s reconnect & kick off Summer with frozen treats & neighbors.
When: Weekend of June 22nd

The Ice Cream Social is a great way to connect with your neighbors on your block.  The social can be hosted in your front yard, driveway, front porch, sidewalk or common area if you live in a vertical block (condo/apartment building).  

To host an Ice Cream Social, please read these guidelines/expectations and submit the form below.

 

We Love LB Will Provide:

  • A Custom Flyer 
  • 25 Name Tags
  • A Sign-in Sheet for you to start to build a Block email list of neighbors.
  • We Love LB Gift
  • Gift Card
  • Yard Signs for Ice Cream Social Promotion Are Available for Purchase – $10 each (Comes with Dry Erase Sign, Sign Stake & Dry Erase Pen)

Host Guidelines / Expectations:

  • Ask one neighbor or two to host the Ice Cream Social with you. (It’s not mandatory, however it will be easier & more fun.
  • Pass out flyers door to door to your block 2 weeks before the event. (Tip: We suggest, not to go alone, ask a neighbor or family members to go with you.)
  • As you go door to door invite neighbors to bring some ice cream, some toppings or something to share.
  • Provide Ice Cream and a few toppings. (You can do other frozen treats too. (ie popsicles, ice cream sandwiches)
  • Provide bowls, napkins and spoons.
  • Post Yard Signs one on a corner & one sign in front of your home on the Sunday before the event. (Signs must be on neighbor’s property, so ask them if it’s okay.)
  • Please don’t use this Ice Cream Social to promote your personal or professional interests. ie. Political, Religious, or Business interests.
