Free Neighborhood Breakfast in Wrigley

Posted By: Scott on January 7th, 2010

Community is what WE build together.

Hey Wrigley, We Love Long Beach is excited to be coming your way!  We want  to give you the opportunity, in a safe and friendly environment,  to get to know your neighbors better. (There will be free pancakes, sausage, eggs, fruit, vegan delights, orange juice, and coffee.)  Also face painting for kids and a live DJ to set the mood.  Remember LB, community is the home that WE build together, valuing our differences and the common good, to make Long Beach a great place to live. Please spread the word and invite your neighbors. We can’t wait!

Looking forward to walking the streets of our old neighborhood and seeing friends that we have not seen in a long time. Daniel has grown so much and will start high school this year…looking forward to this!

WANA, the Wrigley Area Neighborhood Alliance, is honored to partner with WE LOVE LONG BEACH, the Wrigley Association and the Wrigley Village Community Garden in bringing another community-building activity to Daisy Avenue. I especially want to thank two of our members for offering use of their kitchen for food preparation and our WANA volunteers who distributed 500 flyers just to make sure none of our wonderful neighbors miss this event.
